Meet our wonderful chiropractic professionals: Dr. Frank Means is a life long chiropractic patient himself having been introduced to the profession by his grandmother. "I began to understand the importance and benefit of chiropractic care at an early age," he remembers. "As a youngster I especially liked the fact that when I went to the chiropractor he was the one doctor that didn't give me shots or fill me full of yucky tasting medicine. Today my patients, of all ages, appreciate this all natural approach as well."
Dr. Means earned an undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and received his D.C. degree from Dallas' Parker College of Chiropractic (now Parker University) in 1993. He is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
He is experienced in the treatment of many musculoskeletal disorders including, of course, those of the spine but also extra-spinal conditions like frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel and plantar fasciitis.
"Mine is a family practice," Dr. Means explains. "My patients include the youngest toddlers to senior citizens well into their eighties and even nineties. My techniques are gentle and effective. I have also successfully treated many high school and college athletes including several members of the 2011 World Series Championship Navarro (Junior) College Bulldogs baseball team.
"Here you will be treated like family," Dr. Means continues. "We pride ourselves in taking the extra time with patients so they never feel rushed and are not treated in cookie cutter fashion. We treat you like the individual you are."
Now meet the newest member of the team, Dr. Erika Eeds. After completing an internship at a multidisciplinary clinic in Maryland she graduated Parker University in 2018. At Parker she was trained in multiple chiropractic techniques and is even certified to perform animal chiropractic. She has an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University. Like Dr. Means she has been on a chiropractic mission trip and like Dr. Means she is a life long chiropractic patient. In fact her grandfather was a chiropractor!
She lives in Corsicana and is eager to serve you and your family (and pets) with gentle, effective, traditional chiropractic care. "Like my grandfather provided," she proudly states.
In addition to the chiropractic adustment Dr. Eeds can counsel you on the proper use of exercise and supplementation (vitamins, minerals, herbs) to help speed your recovery. As a recent graduate she is up to date on the latest techniques, physical therapy modalities, rehabilitative exercises and cutting edge technology to help you heal faster and more completely.
